I have been fortunate to know and work with NHA for the past 15 years. As the Financial Advisor of the Serenity Place Apartment project, NHA was instrumental in securing a 9% Affordable Housing Tax Credit award from TDHCA, as well as AHP Funding through the Federal Home Loan Bank of Atlanta. NHA also successfully acted as the liaison on behalf of the organization, communicating and elaborating on the Affordable Housing Rules and Policies to the various municipalities, city officials, and community members.

National Housing Advisors was excellent in the development process with creating the financial models, negotiations, raising funds and relocation – with every detail completed to perfection for the Martha’s Vineyard Place Apartments. We would not have made it to the closing table without their efforts. NHA is a great communicator and is excellent in relations with public officials. NHA instills confidence and will persevere to get the transaction to the closing table.

The Deaf Action Center was in dire need of a new facility, as it had become dilapidated after 37 years, and was now longer able to serve its purpose. With NHA's guidance and explanation of how to build and steer our affordable housing project, DAC was able to develop several successful and key partnerships within the Dallas community.  NHA was able to help us carefully craft and build a compassionate redevelopment team to make our project succeed. We are looking forward to our new state of the art facility coming in 2016 that meets the needs of persons who are deaf and hard of hearing. Thank you, NHA!
